Handyman
Choosing a handyman is not as simple as finding someone who is actually available or finding the lowest rate.
Many new handyman workers come from other trades looking for side work. Sadly, others may have dealt with issues that have caused instability in their ability to work for a variety of reasons. The number one tip is to interview your candidates personally since they will be coming into your home. Also, consider the following items when hiring a handyman :
Are they skilled at what they do?
What type of trade is their specialty?
Seek customer testimonials from family and friends and who they have hired.
How long have they been in business?
What is their hourly rate or project cost?
Are they insured?
Are they responsive and conscientious?
Are they clean and organized?
Where are you in their service coverage area? Rising fuel costs may make your job less appealing
Are they reliable?
